in-lakech asked: The first few months I had dreads I didn't wash them at all, and I had a lot of dandruff in the roots. but around 4 months I washed them for the first time and there is no more dandruff now. Some people think you should never wash them, but in my experience, if they are sufficiently locked up there is no harm in washing them, and it will get rid of any dandruff. I use Dreadhead HQ's shampoo but any non scented additive free shampoo should be fine!
