fairiesandstrawberries asked: To the person who asked about sectioning: I agree with dreadproblems in saying that they don't look like they are square-sectioned when they are all done. Mine don't. It's easier for the root to dread if you section them in like sided squares (i.e 3 cm x 3 cm). I have one or two rectangular shaped roots, and I have a harder time getting those to dread together at the base than the other ones. They like to separate themselves instead of joining together with the rest of the hair in that section.
