shoganai-innit asked: (twist & rip) genraly a good method for tight dreads, if its loose at the roots make sure when you do the others keep pulling really tightly at the top and try to keep the twisting to a minimum as this makes a dreadlock that looks a bit like a plait. keep pulling the hair apart, it seems like your getting nowhere and takes a while but trust me its the best for this method, as for loose hairs you have to expect them for the 1st few months try not to crochet too much do lots of palm rolling !
